I (somewhat) quoted Douglas Adams when I posted that I was leaving Microsoft after 16+ years. And after reading enough comments on that on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. that sounded more like eulogies, I figured the “new job” post could quote Monty Python. If you aren’t familiar with the reference:
“I feel happy.”
At the beginning of the week, I started a new job as a Global Technology Specialist at Tanium. I’ve got a lot of stuff to learn about the company and its products, which focus on IT operations (e.g. managing devices) and risk and security – I’m sure I’ll have more to talk about around those in the future.
In the meantime, I do expect to continue posting about Windows management, deployment, and provisioning, including Windows Autopilot and MDT-related stuff, as well as general Windows-related topics.
Yes, that’s a reference to a previous job I had in college, working for Apple as a student rep, as I discussed in my 30 years post. The sentiment is on the mark: Ask me about computers. We’ll talk philosophy later.
